CAD gave a presentation at the Faculty of Computer Science of the National Polytechnic School (Escuela Politécnica Nacional - EPN)
On December 22, our team presented the talk “Cryptographic Protocols for Secure Communication” at the Faculty of Computer Science of the National Polytechnic School.
The main objective of this end-of-year presentation was to disseminate, through technical precepts, the need to approach software development with ethical criteria and a deep focus on the security of end users from the very conception of the code.
The first part of the presentation was given by our technical director, Ola Bini, who gave a brief introduction of how the incorporation of cryptography to software development has a substantial impact on security. In addition, he referred to the necessary components for communications to be secure.
After that, our colleague Fausto Lagos gave a thorough explanation about the integration of different cryptographic protocols for the creation of secure messaging and file transfer capabilities. For this, a detailed review of CoyIM, a safe and secure chat application developed by CAD, was carried out.
At the end of our intervention, we were happy to answer the questions of the attendees, who showed great interest in our work.
In addition, we had a stand where we were able to share our promotional and educational material with students and attendees in general, but above all, we were also able to exchange experiences.
We thank those who made this event possible and we hope to return soon!
